The Talhami family began trading handcrafted souvenirs in Ramleh, Palestine in the early 1920s, serving visitors and officers stationed near the Sarafand camp. Formally established in 1950 by George Nicola Talhami, the house spent nearly half a century as a landmark of the Jordan Intercontinental Hotel in Amman — a destination for diplomats and collectors. Today that century-long legacy continues online.
